First step you have to take is to go out and see offices and once you start looking at offices, you are going to find your comfort zone and once you walk into an office and you meet the seller and you feel that this is the office for you, then you are going to want to contact me and we are going to start on putting together an offer and the seller has three options, that seller can accept that offer, they can reject that offer, they can counter the offer. If you are serious about buying a practice, you are not going to be looking for a bargain. You are going to have to feel that in the Southern California Market that you are going to be paying more for practices than you would in Northern California or anywhere else in the United States and the sellers have a certain price that they can accept for their practice or will accept for their practice and based upon the information that we do provide to you, you should have enough information to make the decision to put an offer in writing. The most important thing that we can do is try to get you into the first position and what you have to realize is that in our market, it is a sellers market, and there are a lot of doctors who are looking for the same office that you are looking for and you may not get that first position if you don't react quickly. You must be able to make the decision, say this is the office that I want, and then get it in writing; so, we can get it to the seller. I always always recommend that you carry your resumes with you, so that, when you do meet a seller you can hand him a resume, so that he has something in his hand to remind him of you. Remember, he may be meeting 15-20 people and it may be difficult for him to remember who you are and we want you to make the very best first impression the first time. That may make a difference as to whether he accepts your offer or someone else’s. Once you have that first position, then you have the opportunity to go and do your due diligence and to verify the information that is there. You will have the opportunity to do that through the process of buying the practice. We go with you and we walk with you step by step through the entire process until the closing date.
